
Apprenticeship Program
Our apprenticeship program spans five years, combining hands-on work experience with classroom learning. Apprentices engage in full time positions with contractors during the day, gaining valuable skills and are required to complete a minimum of 8,500 hours of on-the-job training alongside 1,230 related instruction hours by attending classes three times a week in the evening during the school year.

Curriculum includes trade related math, isometric drawing, play reading, welding & cutting, OSHA classes, soldering & brazing, medical gas installation, steam, hydronics and air conditioning.

Upon completing the program, apprentices will achieve licenses, safety certificates and knowledge necessary to be a skilled and capable craftsman. ​

UA certified instructors attend class every year to stay up to date with new programs, techniques, and training.
